The Weekend

We had a fun weekend with Nana and Pop! They arrived in Charlotte late Friday morning, and Cohen was so excited to see them (he talked about them all week)! Our days were fun-filled, with walks to the park, playtime outside and a trip to Discovery Place. Friday night, we all walked to church for the BBQ dinner. Yum! Here are some pictures from Friday...

Constant stream of bubbles flowing through our driveway

My sweet, sweet big boy
Happiest baby - look at those teeth!
I am still in love with his profile.
These two look just alike.

Poor Cohen played so hard, he came down with a high fever and horrible cough Sunday evening. He's handling it pretty well - we pray he'll be back to his normal happy self very soon!

And a BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Granddad, who turned 60 over the weekend! He's having a blast celebrating in the Bahamas.

HAPPY Friday!

BUBBLES!

Thanks to Aunt Laura and Uncle Mike, we are making some HUMONGOUS bubbles (Cohen loves the new bubble machine). We chased bubbles up and down the driveway this morning and afternoon. I had Cohen running and jumping everywhere to pop them. He was so worn out, he actually sat down three times to rest. Cohen had so much fun, he kept screaming, "Mommy! Bubbles! Big!"

And a couple pictures of Henry from today. Love, love, love...
I could snuggle with this guy all day. And he would let me too.

Day Off

We are enjoying spending the "day off" with David today! We were blessed with amazing weather all weekend. Henry and I played outside while Cohen and David golfed this morning.
Little Man discovered grass. He could have grabbed at it all day if I let him.

Snuggles on the hammock
This could be one of my all-time favorite pictures of Cohen. He is "all boy," and his face proves just that.
I can't get him out of the darn Monkey Joe's t-shirt. We have two that I rotate. Cohen constantly gives us updates on the status of his "Monkey" shirt. "Monkey dirty, Monkey wash, Monkey cwean."

Rubber Ducky

Henry loves lounging in his new duck tub!
Just look at those "rubber band arms."

Weekend Fun

Happy Henry after bath time
Brothers snuggling in pjs Saturday morning
More pajama fun on the porch
Swingin' baby
Cohen took a tumble playing in the driveway Saturday evening. His sweet face is scuffed up. He is a tough little man - nothing slows him down.
Cohen decided it was Henry's turn to wear the sunglasses.

Gorgeous

We are having a gorgeous day in Charlotte! Cohen and I spent the morning at the park while Ms. Sheron stayed home with Henry. Cohen got to play with Brady and Lillian, and Dad even surprised us by stopping by! We got Wendy's on the way home, and Cohen just had to eat inside beside the three police men. He loves his "shik-shake" (milkshake), fries and nuggets.
The three of us played outside when we got home. Henry loves swinging in the hammock! I tried to capture one of his big smiles, but he was swinging too fast.

How did we get so lucky? These boys are amazing. They love each other so much, and I have gained many more smile lines on my face from watching them together.
Happy Friday, y'all!

Splish-Splash

Our boys sure do love bath time. Henry is barely squeezing into his baby tub these days. Pretty soon, he and Cohen will get to splash together in the big tub.
I could play with Cohen all day long. The kid absolutely cracks me up! His latest thing is "giving eyes." It truly is one of the cutest and funniest things I've ever seen. The picture below doesn't do it justice. Cohen will whip out his "big eyes" to get his way, make us laugh or get our attention. I can't resist those big, beautiful blues and thick, dark lashes.

* Note, I am re-touching the scar under his eye in most of these pictures. It is going to be a while before it is completely healed. Poor baby.

The Weekend

Here are some shots from this weekend. We relaxed, watched TV, played outside with friends, grilled out, went to the park and enjoyed the nice weather. Cohen is getting pretty good at riding his trike!

Cohen perfecting his golf swing
Henry's new nickname is "Velcro Baby." He wants to be held all the time! It's fine by me, but the boy is not light. Hopefully the little man will start crawling soon so our arms can have a break.

Granddad & Golf

Our house was hit with a virus this week, but we are all finally on the mend. Last weekend, Granddad visited, and the boys had so much fun with him!

Cohen experienced his first of many rounds of golf with Dad and Granddad! He had a blast driving the golf cart and swinging his new club. He's a little Lucas Glover (whose parents are good friends of Mama's)!
