NYE and Catching Up

The boys and I were a little under the weather on New Years Eve, so the three of us hung out at the house while David visited the Farrin's annual beach bonfire party (he was home before midnight to ring in the new year).  You can't tell by this picture that we weren't exactly 100% - love these boys!  Even when they're sick, they are happy.
Cohen has a newfound love for "Baby."  We gave him this baby doll when I was pregnant with Henry to help him learn gentle touches (he used to manhandle actual babies when we saw them).  Now, he is taking care of this baby doll like it's an actual baby.  He always makes sure "Baby" goes down for naps and has a bottle.  And we even take pictures of baby.
Cohen and Henry love to play doctor with the new doctor kit Aunt Laura and Uncle Mike gave them.  I find Cohen putting real band-aids on Henry's skinned knees almost daily. Santa brought the boys Angry Birds band-aids, and they wear them at all times.
Random Christmas picture of the cousins!  Game night was a blast!

Cohen and Henry are best buddies - thick as thieves - bonded for life.  They truly look out for each other and are little partners in crime.  I love hearing, "Come on, Henry!  Let's GO!" as they're playing together.  And I love that, without fail, every time Henry wakes up in the morning or from his nap, he immediately asks, "Cohen up?"  If I tell him no, Henry breaks out into the saddest cry.  I have a permanent smile as I watch them play so happily together.

Today was one for the record books.  We caught a nice glimpse of spring weather (mid-70s and sunshine), and played outside until dark.  The boys and I started off our morning with a quick trip to Dunkin Donuts and driveway playtime.  Donuts, bike riding, tummy skateboarding and singing songs - wish we could start every day that way!

We then met the boys' friends, Ada (from Cohen's class) and her sister, Ivy, on the beach for more playtime.
These two have so much fun together!
The hug turned into Cohen picking Ada up, them falling into the sand, then making sand angels.
After lunch, the boys practiced their golf swings in the front yard.  They were worn out, and took long naps.  Afterward, we rode the bucket bike to meet the Ferrelles for more fun at the park.  What a day!
