Never Slow Down

We had a blast this weekend!  Friday night, we met our friends, Eric and Crystal, at Culhane's to eat dinner and listen to Uncle Hank's band.  Our good friends, Jasmine and Michael, and their four girls joined us too!  Cohen and Henry loved dancing with the girls.  We took over the dance floor, and they all twirled and dipped each other and boogied down.

David and the boys planted a vegetable garden in our backyard Saturday morning.  We can't wait to watch everything grow.  Saturday evening, we went to the Ferrelle's house for dinner and more fun.  Connor, Cohen, Henry and Kennedy ran around their yard, played on the swing set, watched Toy Story 3 and ate pizza.  Fun times!

Sunday morning was School Recognition Day at church.  Cohen and a bunch of friends from school sang with Pastor Gabe...of course, Henry had to join them at the front too.  Hilarious.  Afterward, I ran the children's church and played with all the children on the playground.  It was fun!  Cohen asked me why I was pretending to be a teacher.  Here is a picture of the 9:45 service (Cohen's classmate, Salem, to his left).
Henry is in LOVE with Ivy and Ava (Salem's older sisters).  They are so sweet to him and he eats up their attention.  He is a lucky boy!
The school held a Stretch-n-Grow fundraiser Sunday afternoon at the Atlantic Beach Elementary playground and track.  Because I am a former Stretch-n-Grow coach, I was thrilled to attend such a fun event!  The children ran laps around the track and collected donations to help fund SNG for the next school year.  I was so proud that Cohen ran a full mile (8 laps)!  Afterward, we did some fun SNG exercises and played with friends on the playground.
Snacking on popcorn after his mile
Cohen wants to wear his race bib everywhere he goes from now on.  He is very proud of the eight stickers he earned.
Our new sweet niece, Bennett Katherine Collins - "Bennie," was born last Sunday.  We are all counting down the "dark naps" until we get to meet her!!  We are all so excited.
